About me

My name is Tim Kröger and I am the Director of Builder Infrastructure at Zalando, a European fashion e-commerce company with an amazing tech team. While krgr.de is my personal & professional homepage, krgr.dev focuses on software engineering and infrastructure operations only.

Having started my career as a software engineer in 2001, I have been a manager in engineering since 2010 now, only occasionally going back to coding. I don’t really need an excuse to dive into interesting technology topics in my spare time, so here I will probably write about topics that fascinate me – from running stuff on self-hosted infrastructure to building sites like these, and everything else I find interesting. Hopefully a few folks will find this useful.
